Will Gilmour

GotChew

William is Co-Founder and CMO of GotChew, Online Ordering & Delivery Service.

He was born, raised, and educated in the SouthCoast, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

After graduation, he entered the workforce as a sales agent for Comcast, where he found his passion for marketing and technology.

He founded GotChew almost three years ago and has since grown the company to work with over 100 local restaurants and serve most of the SouthCoast community.

His mission is to help elevate the SouthCoast’s technology sector and improve the overall well-being of the area he grew up in and loves.

 

David Alan Kaminski

Born and raised in the Fall River area, David was the webmaster at Durfee High for his sophomore through senior years.

Since the age of 14, he’s been self-employed and using his general knowledge of consumer and business technology to infiltrate and take a portion of market share from a number of different niches.

David encourages everyone to strive for dynamic growth in every facet of their lives and is always excited to help people realize their potential.

 

Eric Benoit

Bristol County Sheriff’s Office

Eric is a Network Engineer with sixteen years of experience in the IT Industry.

Living and educated in the SouthCoast, Eric received his Associate’s Degree in Computer Networking from Bristol Community College while working on the HelpDesk for a local municipality.

He moved on to become Network Administrator there while simultaneously pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Most recently he has received his Master’s Degree in IT Management and now works as a Network Engineer for the Bristol County Sheriff.

His mission is to architect and maintain elegant solutions for aging networks and is passionate about his professional performance and sharing information with those new to the field.

 

James Simoes

Senior Software Engineer

James is a Fall River native raised by Portuguese immigrant parents.

He entered the software development industry combining his experience in the automotive industry with his natural technical abilities.

Upon graduating from Bristol Community College and Wentworth Institute of Technology he advanced his current career as a Senior Software Engineer at Optum where he works with a diverse widespread team to develop and deliver high-quality solutions to improve the health care system.

In his personal time, besides spending time with his young family and two-year-old daughter, he enjoys mentoring and sharing his experiences with aspiring engineers.

His mission is to create opportunities and jobs in the city of Fall River while transforming South Eastern MA into the “Silicon Valley” of the east.
